Blue light patch lining cures in place for faster repairs

Blue light patch lining technology is at the cutting edge of pipe repairs, offering faster, more convenient and less disruptive patch repairs for broken pipes.

Also known as cured-in-place pipe, or CIPP, this innovative drain and sewer lining technology uses ultraviolet light – off the blue end of the visible light spectrum – to activate resin patches once they are in place.

This means the resin can be positioned accurately and only then is the curing process triggered, so that the result is extremely reliable and achieved as quickly and cleanly as possible.

Working on blue light patch lining in the north-west

We are proud to be the preferred drainage contractor for many organisations and projects in the north-west, and we also welcome direct enquiries from customers new and old.

Together our ever-growing client base allows us to work on blue light patch lining in the north-west’s towns and cities, across Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and beyond, wherever this innovative technology is needed.

It’s also the first time a drainage contractor in the north-west has offered CIPP curing to the facilities management and private sectors, courtesy of hebs Flowtech, our specialist drainage and pipeline services provider.

More benefits of blue light patch lining

The main benefits of blue light patch lining are its ease of use, fast application and curing times, and its availability even in confined areas, but there are many more advantages to using this cutting-edge technology:

  • Position of the blue/UV lights gives excellent control over curing.
  • Multiple patches can be applied quickly and with excellent results.
  • Low energy consumption means no large generators needed.
  • Less landscape disruption means less environmental impact.
  • Easier to make land ready for future use with less digging needed.

If you’re not sure if UV patch lining is right for your project, that’s fine too – just ask and we will be happy to advise on suitability and, if CIPP curing is not suitable for any reason, we can recommend an alternative instead.
